Robyn Pass, Career Academy

Hello!

My name is Robyn Pass and I am the Career Academy Coordinator at Erwin High School. I am extremely fortunate to have held this role since 2014. I love the Erwin community and also spent 10 years teaching at Erwin Middle School

I grew up in a very small town in Harrison, Michigan, graduating with only 86 people! After high school, I took a huge leap of faith and attended college Big Ten style at Michigan State University. Go Spartans!

My role as Career Academy Coordinator is one that helps me continue learning everyday. Helping students with career developement and exploration allows me to engage students in relevant and significant ways. Because I follow students all the way through high school, I work with all grade levels. Watching my students walk across the graduation stage is one of the greatest successes of my career. My philosphy is that "you are a person before you are a student, but being a good student helps make you a better person" and I try to reflect that in my teaching and my program.
