My name is Nicole Olenick and I’m so excited to be one of school counselor at North Windy Ridge Intermediate! For the 2025-2026 school year, I will be the 6th grade school counselor. I am originally from outside of Baltimore, Maryland and attended Virginia Tech (go Hokies!) where I fell in love with living in the mountains. I have my masters from Lenoir Rhyne University and hold both a Clinical Mental Health Associate and School Counseling license. I have been a school counselor for 6 years in Buncombe County Schools at Weaverville Primary School and started at North Windy Ridge in fall 2024. I have loved continuing to build relationships with students and families in the North Buncombe community! My husband, my 2 boys, and I have lived in Weaverville for over 12 years and we think it is the best place to raise our family. I hope to support students here at North Windy Ridge and partner with families.
