I am a graduate of Montreat College with a BA in Mathematics Education. I am currently in my 26th year of teaching. I started my career at Asheville Middle School where I taught for 19 years and served as the Athletic Director. I then taught at North Buncombe Middle School for 1 year before coming to North Buncombe High School where I am in my 6th year of teaching. I am currently the Head Girl's Basketball Coach and the assistant baseball coach. I have 2 children of whom both are graduates of North Buncombe High School, my son is currently attending Emory University in Atlanta and my daughter is attending UNC- Chapel Hill. I am currently teaching Math 2 and Math 2 Honors this semester
