Matt Carpenter

I have been teaching at Erwin High School since 2007. I am a product of the Buncombe County School system and a PROUD graduate of Erwin High School. I grew up in the Emma community and attended Emma Elementary school. After graduation I attended Appalachian State University to pursue a degree in Technology Education. I specifically wanted to earn my degree and become an educator in the community that raised me! I teach PLTW courses here at Erwin. I also serve a the Head Boys Basketball Coach.
