Lina Berrio

I am an ambassador teacher from Colombia, proudly part of the Dual Language program, teaching fifth grade at Charles T. Koontz Intermediate School.

I have been teaching since 2009 in Colombia and Canada, both countries where I have lived in the past. I have been teaching in North Carolina since 2022.

I studied at the University of Antioquia, Colombia, where in 2009, I became a teacher with major in Natural Science and in 2014, I earned my Master in Education.

I love teaching because every single day I can contribute to equip children for a globally competitive world and help them to progress into a lifelong learning.
