Katelyn Fullbright

Hey there! My name is Katelyn Fullbright and I am a second grade teacher at Haw Creek Elementary. This is my first year teaching and I am so excited to begin my teaching journey!

I am a product of Buncombe County schools and I absolutely love the care that this community puts into each student. I graduated from Enka High school in 2021 and I am so excited to give back to the students here in Buncombe County!

I graduated from Appalachian State in 2024 with a degree in elementary education and a concentration in Spanish. I completed my student teaching in 2nd grade and worked as an interventionalist for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade students. I firmly believe in helping all students reach their full potential and holding high expectations for all learners. I believe that each child brings wonderful ideas and perspectives to the classroom and can contribute to our learning community in a positive way.
