Member Schools
All Games will be played @ 5:00pm, unless otherwise stated
Admission: General - $5.00 (5th grade & older)
New members will be admitted only if there is a vacancy, and the membership is approved by two-thirds vote of the conference members.
All member schools must participate in a minimum of five sports, three of which are: Football, Basketball (boys & girls) & Softball. If a school has a team in any other sport, it must participate in the conference schedule and a tournament if one is held. Tournaments outside of the FBMSC are prohibited.
To assist in organizing, standardizing, and constructing a sound athletic program in the public schools represented in the conference.
To ensure that the program promotes good sportsmanship and worthy use of leisure time.
To ensure that our athletic program helps to develop all of our students physically, morally, mentally, and spiritually according to their abilities and interests.
To uphold and enforce the regulations and policies of the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, Buncombe County Board of Education, Asheville City Board of Education and game rules and regulations of the North Carolina Middle School Athletic Manual, North Carolina High School Athletic Association, and the National Federation of High Schools.
