Hello Black Mountain families!
My name is Dale Rinehart, and I am honored to be BME's school counselor. I have lived in Asheville since 2011, and been a part of Buncombe County Schools since 2018 when I began as an assistant in the Title 1 program at Bell Elementary. It wasn't until the COVID year that I decided to pursue my Masters in School Counseling. I received my degree from Salem College in Winston-Salem, NC. Following a short time in McDowell County, I am happy to be in Black Mountain and closer to home.
I live with my husband and two children. We also have two dogs and a cat. I love walking in our beautiful forests, yoga, and painting. I also enjoy podcasts and audio books on my drive to and from work.
Fun fact: I was born and raised in South Africa, and moved with my family to northern Virginia when I was 15 years old. I am also a Gen-X Swiftie, and was fortunate to attend the Eras Tour in London with my sister in 2024.
