Chris Schmidt - AIG

Hello! I am so glad to be back teaching AIG at Fairview Elementary. I grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Before moving to Asheville, I lived and taught for 4 years in Baltimore, Maryland. I have been teaching elementary school and AIG students at a number of schools in Buncombe County since 2002! I live in north Asheville with my wife and our teenage son. We love riding bikes, board games, hiking, traveling, National Parks, and making fresh pasta. During the summer and fall of 2022, we traveled in Europe for 10 weeks! It was a truly amazing experience.
