Lottie Godsey

I began teaching in Buncombe County Schools is 2021 and started working at Bell Elementary in 2024. Prior to teaching in Buncombe I taught in Charlotte and Boone. 

I graduated from Appstate with my undergraduate and graduate degrees in Special Education. My concentrations were in Specific Learning Disabilities, Emotional behavioral disorders, and Reading Education. I am certified to teach Elementary and Special education. 

Teaching has always played a huge role in my life from helping my mom create bulletin boards for her PreK classroom when I was 7 years old to coaching wheelchair basketball in high school to being your child's teacher today!
