Ms. Belcher

Hello! I teach 2nd grade at North Buncombe Elementary School. I received my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education through Mars Hill University and have been teaching since 2023. I am from Madison County, NC, so I was raised as a Patriot, but I'm excited to spread my Blackhawk wings!

I teach because I have seen and experienced the impact that a teacher can have on a student, much past the last day of school. I hope to leave my students with a mindset that it's okay to make mistakes as long as they've tried their best, that I am proud of them and care about them, and that they have the power to do great things.

In my class, we use Class Dojo for positive behavior management and parent-teacher communication. We also use Seesaw, Epic Books, and IXL for language arts.

I am so excited to be a part of your child's education, and I am looking forward to the school year!
