Bridgit McCarthy

Welcome to my web page.  I have been at Owen Middle School since 2018 and love teaching in the valley!  I have over 20 years of  experience and feel there is no better place for me to be than in a  middle school classroom.  I love seeing how kids' faces light up when they "get it" and this is what's kept me in the profession.  

I grew up in Atlanta GA, and graduated from Kennesaw State University just north of the city, and located near the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains.   I have lived in  Asheville for 14 years and love the urban vibe I get from it, while still being able to be in the woods or on the river in a matter of minutes.
