Andrea Banoy-Kindergarten Dual Language Teacher

Hello everyone! I am Andrea Banoy, I am from Medellín, a

beautiful city in Colombia. I hold a Bachelor Degree in Foreign

Languages, I am a Specialist in Bilingual Education, and I have a Master's

in Second Language Learning and Teaching. I started teaching

in 2002.  In my career, I have experience teaching in

kindergarten, elementary, and high school, but most of the time I

have been a kindergarten teacher, and I must say that it is

what I enjoy the most. I also had the opportunity to be part of

the team of the Education board of my city, leading city projects

and coaching teachers and schools. I am passionate about

education, and I am convinced that it has a transformative

power in society.  I have been married for 20 years to my lovely husband,

 Felipe  and we have a beautiful 9-year-old daughter, Julieta. My family

is the most important thing in my life.

What I enjoy the most is spending time with them and getting

to know new places.  I am convinced that when we do our job with love the result is wonderful.
