A message to the Horace Mann Families 

Dear Horace Mann Families,

My name is Ana Cuevas and I am your Family And Community Engagement Liaison at Horace Mann.  Something I would like to share with you about me is that I enjoy working as a F.A.C.E, but I also have a very important role.  That role is being a mother to my children.  It is by far the most difficult job, but most rewarding as well.  Being a parent allows me to relate and connect with all of you who are parents.  Parents who care for your child and your child's education. 

What does FACE mean to me? To me, FACE means extended family.  I spend a great amount of my day here at the school site, and I can say that every minute spent here is very well invested.  Working and building relationships with our families makes this a very rewarding job.  I have the opportunity to create and provide sessions that you as a parents will benefit from.  Physically or virtually, I want all of you to know that I am here for you and your child.  I am a call or a click away.  Therefore, don't forget your F.A.C.E.  Good luck during these challenging times and just know that "The golden rule for parenting, is to always show your children the kind of person you want them to be".
