If you would like to have an academic YouTube video unblocked for students, use the following Google Form. Please place your request a 1-2 weeks in advance. Please note that all videos must be watched in their entirety prior to approval.
Go to YouTube.com.
Click Login in the upper right corner.
Chances are you might already be logged in.
Type a topic of your choice in the search bar. The results will show both suggested individual videos and playlists.
Preview the video.
Under the video, select SAVE.
SAVE TO previously created playlist or CREATE a new one.
One video can go on multiple playlists.
On the YouTube Search page, hover your mouse over the right side of the title.
Select the three dots.
Click on Save to playlist.
Obvious statement, but always preview the video before sharing it.
Click on the 3 setting bars in the upper left corner.
If necessary, click Show more to view the list of playlists.
From the left menu, select the playlist you wish to share.
Click on your playlist.
Below the playlist’s title, click the share arrow.
Choose a method to share, the easiest probably being copy url to share with anyone.
From the left menu, select Playlists.
Next to the playlist you want to add collaborators to, click Edit.
Below the playlist’s title, click *** More .
Click Collaborate .
Click the slider next to “Collaborators can add videos to this playlist".
Turn on “Allow new collaborators”.
Copy the playlist link and share it with the people you want to collaborate with.
