Go to Google Drive.
Click on New.
Hover over Google Sheets.
Select Template.
Template options include:
Attendance
Gradebook
Budget

Go to drive.google.com.
In the Search Drive bar, select the down arrow.
For type, select Spreadsheet.
If you know more information, add filters such as who owns the file. If not, just select Search.
Columns go up and down (vertical).
Rows go across (horizontal).
Cells are individual rectangles.
Type labels in cells A1 and B1.
Type numbers in the rows below them.
Artificial intelligence is nice, but not better than your brilliant mind.
To Edit a chart:
Hover over the chart.
In the upper right corner, click on the three dots.
Select Edit.
Play with the options to see what happens. If you make a mistake, just use the shortcut CTRL Z to undo it.
To complete a mathematical equation:
Click on a cell.
Type =2+4.
Hint the Enter key.
The number 6 will appear.

Why do the math manually when the computer will compute it for you?
Type the labels and data for a gradebook.

Select cell F2.
Go to Insert -> Functions.
In this case, select Average.
Why do more work? Once you have the formula in Cell F2, grab the blue square at the bottom of F2 and drag it down.
Open Google Docs.
Go to Insert -> Chart -> Google Sheets.
Select the spreadsheet from the list.
Select the chart you want to insert.
Click Import.
If keep the default for linking the chart, if a change is made on the spreadsheet, you can update the chart on the Google Docs.
Open Google Slides.
Go to Insert -> Chart -> Google Sheets.
Select the spreadsheet from the list.
Select the chart you want to insert.
Click Insert.

Move your cursor over the folders below. Select the box with a diagonal arrow to open the folder.
You can also click directly on the Sheets example.
Open the Sheets. Notice you only have View access.
Go to File -> Make a copy.
Make sure to move the file to a folder of your choice.
Click Okay.
