GoGuardian is a tool that allows teachers and administrators to monitor activity, gather reports on internet activity, and communicate with students on chromebook devices.
Login to goguardian.com using "sign in with Google"
Click on Classrooms on the left hand menu
Click on the green "Add Classroom" button in the top right of the screen.
Select "Add Google Classroom"
Select the newly created Google Classroom with your students

You can invite others to manage elements of your Goguardian class.
Click on Settings
Click on Teachers

If you cannot see a student in GoGuardian, the student may be on a home computer and is not logged into Chrome with their @bcsd.com. Share this tutorial video and directions with students or their parents.
Confirm that you are using the Chrome browser.
Select the circle avatar in the top right corner.
Click Add.
Type the name of the person.
Select Already a Chrome user? Sign in.
Enter the @bcsd.com username and password.
Click Link data.
Select Yes, I'm in to turn on sync.

Make sure that you are in screen view.
Check mark Online in the top left.
Click Open new tab.
Paste the address in the Open tab window.

If you have used GoGuardian in the previous years, please Archive the class or your scheduled classes will interfere with other teachers. For example, some classes 5th Grade classes are still open even though the student is in junior high.
Go to the GoGuardian login.
Accept permissions if directed.
Look for last year's class. Select Archive.
