What is Renaissance Place?

Renaissance Place is where a variety of reading related assessments take place. Use it to manage student Accelerated Reader settings and reports. It also houses a variety of assessment data from STAR Reading and STAR Math assessments used quarterly at BCSD.

How to log in to Renaissance Place

Use Clever is the easiest way. https://clever.com/in/bcsdca

Click on the Renaissance Place Logo.

You can also access by going to the Teacher Login Portal http://login.bcsd.com Click on Renaissance Learning. Login in using bcsd email and your confidential teacher number. If you do not know your teacher number, you can talk to your school site secretary.

How to set student AR goals

  • From the main dashboard click on Independent 360

  • Click on Record Books and Goals

  • Click on the Goals Tab

  • Manage the goals for each student with the grid

  • Manage the goals for the whole class with the blue Set all button.

Book Level Restrictions: How to limit ZPD range of books students can access in AR

  • From the main dashboard click on Independent 360

  • Click on Preferences

  • Scroll down to student preferences

  • Click on Book Level Restrictions

  • Adjust sliders for the students.

How to access reports in Renaissance Place

This is a tour the the Renaissance Place Report section.

It also goes into detail on gathering annual progress graphed reports that are very useful for reporting data and trends of STAR assessments to parents and guardians.
