ADULT EDUCATION CLASSES


          Adult Education classes are offered during the morning and evening hours to help individuals improve educational skills necessary for college, careers, and passing the High School Equivalency (HSE) Exam.  

Classes are FREE!

Adult Education Skill Building

McDowell's adult education classes help the individual study and improve in math and writing skills, reading comprehension, work readiness, and college placement test preparation. 

Our instructors are experienced teachers available to help each student with their learning needs to improve and progress in their personal and professional lives.

Eligibility

To enroll in Adult Education class, individuals must first register online or in-person, then attend an orientation session to assess their academic levels where the orientation coordinator will collaborate with an AED instructor on the best educational plan. 

Students aged 16 & 17 must have a signed state of Indiana exit interview form from their previous high school or homeschool to attend classes at McDowell.
