Are you called to be a “person for others”? Are motivated to enhance the human condition and strive for social justice? Then join us for Social Impact Careers Week!
This themed week is designed to help you explore the world of social impact career opportunities, meet alumni and employers, and learn about opportunities of interest.
My name is Peter Hunt, and I oversee the Education, Nonprofit and Social Service cluster. Your participation in these events may generate more questions for you, and that's okay! I invite you to schedule a career coaching appointment with me so we can strategize your next steps.

6:30–8:00 p.m. Student-to-Student Social Impact Career Fair

Have informal conversations with BC students who have experienced rewarding social impact internships in nonprofits, government agencies, and socially responsible businesses!
You can ask students about the pros and cons of their internship; how they found the listing and what other internships they considered; and even what their plans are for going forward!

How do you start and build an impact career in policy and advocacy? What degrees are necessary? And where, as a student, do you start?
Join us for an in-depth conversation with Patricia Kelmar, BC alum, lawyer, and Health Care Campaigns Director at U.S. PIRG. Patricia has also served as Director of Health Policy for the National Consumers League; Senior Policy Advisor for the New Jersey Health Care Quality Institute; Associate State Director - Advocacy for the AARP; and International Relocation Consultant for Cultural Awareness International.
