About the Author

Isabelle Ng

Isabelle Ng is a senior majoring in History from North Easton, MA. Her academic interests include women and gender in the Medieval and Early Modern Periods, with a special focus on women in 16th century England. She credits the Royal Diaries series that she read in elementary and middle school for fostering her early love of history, and was able to fulfill a childhood dream when she lived next to an 11th century castle during her year abroad at Durham University. Isabelle is a History Department Student Mentor and a contributor for U.K. based organization, Women in Foreign Policy. In her free time, she loves playing the piano, horseback riding, and going on walks with her dog. She plans on studying for a Masters in International Relations in the U.K. and later pursuing a career in IR or International Law.
