About the Author

Seamus Ruiz-Earle

Seamus Ruiz-Earle is an avid student of all things history. While a student at Bellarmine College Preparatory in San Jose, CA, his focus centered around the intersection of economics and the landscape of American twentieth century politics. This focus informed his choice to double major in History and Economics while a student in the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences at Boston College. In terms of historical scholarship, Seamus has produced papers focusing on Russian military maneuvers during the World War I, the tumultuous state of the 1918 Irish social landscape, and the influence of the wider Irish global diaspora. When he graduated in 2020, Seamus became the first student in collegiate history to graduate with a dual BA in only three years. He hopes to pursue graduate studies in Irish history sometime in the near future.
