Agniva Roy

I am a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Boston College. My research interests are in contact and symplectic topology, in both low and high dimensions. I am further interested in its connections with smooth low dimensional topology, and with the theory of cluster algebras. 

I was previously at LSU as a postdoctoral researcher during the academic year 2023 - 24. Before that I completed my PhD at Georgia Tech, where I was advised by John Etnyre.

• With James Hughes and Luya Wang, I am coorganising a special session on "Sheaf-Theoretic and Floer-Theoretic Approaches to Contact and Symplectic Topology" at the AMS Northeastern Sectional Meeting at Boston College, March 28-29, 2026.
