Academic Coaches

Academic Coaches are professionals responsible for developing appropriate strategic plans to enhance and facilitate learning and independent study for students. They work with you to assess your needs, strengths, and weaknesses and identify ways to improve their functioning and performance, tutoring students within certain subject areas according to their specific learning needs, advising students as to their learning needs and appropriate learning strategies, and providing learning resources to foster academic success.

Dannielle Croft is a Generalist Academic Coach here at Bay Path. She has undergraduate degrees in psychology/pre-med and mechanical engineering, and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering. She enjoys getting to know students and helping them meet their academic goals. She looks forward to working with you!

Theresa was born and raised in Westfield, MA before leaving to attend school in NYC at Fordham University, then grad school at CCNY. She started her career teaching in the Bronx, teaching math at the high school across the street from Fordham U. After working in NYC she then moved on to teach on the idyllic Nantucket island as well as in 3 districts in the local area for the past 8+ years. She has taught everything math related from 5th grade through most undergraduate math courses. Please send her an email with questions, and she will be happy to answer or set up a time to meet. Marcie's background is in early childhood and elementary education. She served as a Reading Specialist in the West Springfield school district for seven years. Prior to that, she taught in grades K-3 at Center School in Longmeadow. She resides in Longmeadow and is excited to help and inspire the next generation of educators.

Colleen has worked as an ELL/ESL teacher with students from Kindergarten through 12th grade for the past 10 years in the Maine public school system. At Bay Path she works with ESL students who need additional help in reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar, and more.

Molly Orr

Writing Academic Coach

Molly lives in Longmeadow with her family and their two dogs. She has been teaching and tutoring for the better part of the last twenty years. Communication skills are her passion, specifically communicating through the written word. She is looking forward to helping BPU students refine their writing skills so they can express their thoughts effectively.
