Democrats believe in lowering prescription drug prices, providing affordable health insurance to all, and expanding Medicare benefits for our seniors.

We stand with our kids and support our teachers. Democrats believe in increasing teacher pay, improving safety of our schools, and expanding childcare and universal PreK opportunities for all children of Bay County.

All hard working residents deserve a living wage, good benefits and the right to organize. The pillars of our economy are business growth and jobs creation. Democrats seek to increase the minimum wage and paid leave to show the dignity of work.

The economy and many businesses of Bay County depend upon the availability residents to live and work. Democrats believe in expanding housing opportunities from cutting burdensome regulations to build homes and expand affordable housing opportunities for all.

We recognize that environmental and economic strength go hand-in-hand. As the home to the "World's Most Beautiful Beaches" and a major tourist area, Bay County relies on clean air and water as a natural resource. Our seaside properties are vulnerable to rising sea levels and hurricanes as proven by Hurricane Michael. Environmental protection and mitigation are imperative to the maintenance of our way of life.

From veterans to our diverse communities, Democrats believe in empowering those that make America the envy of the world. While a small group of special interests seek to divide Americans by who they are and what they believe, we know that the values of inclusion and acceptance of everyone make our community stronger.
