Seesaw- how to guide

For the duration of the home learning period we are again using Seesaw as our main home learning activities tool.

A reminder that the home learning codes are used through the Seesaw class app (not the family app).

Once you have received the updated home learning code scan the barcode or enter the code and your child will be able to upload work and photos to their teachers. This will only be seen by Kowhai teachers.  Students and families cannot see each other’s work.

We also put work that children have obviously put their time and effort into onto the Bayfield Blog - we will contact you and ask for your permission before going ahead.

Please let us know if you need an email copy of your child’s  home learning code - contact your child's Wellbeing teacher.

If you are wanting further information about how to load Seesaw read this link from Seesaw

Epic is an online reading resource library that Kowhai will use throughout the year.  Each child has their own profile where books will be assigned to them.
Children are also encouraged to read and listen to a range of other books that they are interested in.
To access Epic! click the link or download the Epic! app and sign in using the class code

NZ SPEECH SOUNDS

This is an excellent resource which explains the
sounds your child will need to learn to help their reading, spelling and writing.  Listen carefully -
some are not what you would expect!
