3rd Grade Math

Welcome to RHL 3rd Grade Math!

I am excited to be your teacher this year. We will be using Zearn as our primary learning platform for math. Mrs. Chu told me there were mixed reviews of it from last year - some families loved it and some families hated it. I totally understand. One thing you should know about me - I am a problem solver! Zearn has some great features for distance learning, and Seesaw will help us explore and share our thinking. I will be adding instructional videos and Number Talks that you can watch, as well as weekly lessons on Zoom. Printed workbooks are on their way from the Printshop and will be available to pick up soon. Please let me know what is working and what is not and we will adapt and adjust to make this the best year possible. The math we learn in 3rd grade lays a foundation for future attitudes about math. I want all of my 3rd grade math students to develop strong confidence in their own math abilities. We are building Super Powers!

This page will have tutorials about different ways to use Google Classroom, Seesaw, Zearn, Flip Grid, etc. I will be adding more videos and tips. If you find any good resources you think I should add, please send them my way!

We will be using Seesaw to connect with each other and show what we have learned. Click here to watch a video about using Seesaw.

Zearn is our online Math Portal. Click here to learn how to log in to Zearn.

Let's get ready to Zearn! Here's a friend to tell you all about it.
