1. Brief description and aims of module:
Up until this module you’ll have been exploring a range of traditional and contemporary analogue and computer animation techniques. This module will ask you apply your knowledge to develop an experimental project by exploring avant-garde animation methods in an area of your choosing.
Potential topics to research include: kinetic sculpture, coding animation, physical computing, mashups, mixing media, midi-controlling, sensor controls, interactive animation, stop-frame, strobe lighting.
You will investigate specific techniques and develop an exhibitable idea.
