1. Brief description and aims of module:
This module is about taking animation out into the public: animation as performance. This covers areas such as dance and music combined with large screens or projections. All students will learn projection mapping, as projections have the ability to transform spaces, from simple decoration to theatrical show.
You will explore a variety of industry standard techniques to create an animated or video projected experience. You will have access to a variety of appropriate equipment and software necessary to create projections and consider how audiences will engage with these experiences.
You will be expected to bring your specialist skills and apply them to this module. You will take part in a joint event to showcase the work from this module.
