1. Brief description and aims of module:
Character design and animation are a major aspect of digital, traditional and interactive animation. Characters allow audiences to relate to an animation and this module will introduce you essential techniques needed to bring life to 2D/3D animation.
You will study the fundamentals character movement and expression and how to use principles of animation to add dramatic energy to a character. You will explore 3D character modelling and rigging, and use keyframes to create short rendered animated sequences.
