1. Brief description and aims of module:
In this module, you will lean and explore methods of communicating your work through 2D presentation incorporating illustration and appropriate digital technologies including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
2.Outline syllabus:
The module is structured around the learning gained in Research for Design Development and culminates in presenting your work within a final 2D presentation. Taught sessions will introduce you to key processes such as 2D composition and layout, digital technologies appropriate for drawing and enhancing 2D presentation, hand-rendered and digitally enhanced illustration, as well as presentation methods used by practicing designers to present work. You will be supported in exploring a narrative through appropriate media (image, text, fabric, colour, illustration and verbal presentation), to communicate ideas and process.

Will usually include:
Introductions to two-dimensional presentation methods.
Illustration workshops.
Digital workshops.
Group and individual tutorials and critical reviews.
Personal presentation, two-dimensional and verbal.
Independent working on directed projects.
Active participation in taught sessions and directed learning.
