1. Brief description and aims of module:
This module will help you develop core and traditional image making skills and concepts needed to understand fundamental issues relating to animation. Creative techniques, sketchbook use, visual research,
Drawing, painting, mark-making, stop-frame animation are all covered by this module. You’ll learn
to experiment visually whilst developing confidence in image-making skills. Research skills will be covered including documenting and analysing visual sources. You will learn how to develop ideas whilst referencing secondary sources (analysing image-making methods used in animation).
