1. Brief description and aims of module:
In this module you will explore learning computer coding to generate and manipulate graphics on screen. You will be introduced to the fundamental concepts of computer coding and apply algorithms to explore the possibilities for moving images.
Interactivity will feature in the module as a way to explore how audiences can influence animation, whilst still being guided by the animator’s intentions. You will explore techniques used to create algorithmic art and early computer animations.
