1. Brief description and aims of module:
This module will introduce core 3D modelling and building techniques. You’ll explore designing and modelling in 3D and how the results can be used in a variety of different situations, such as print, rendered and real-time animation. You will learn industry standard 3D modelling software as well as becoming aware of other software solutions and turn your drawn ideas into rendered 3D graphics.
You will learn how to the use a virtual camera for simulation and create a virtual fly-through of an environment designed by you, and influenced by your research.
The module will include an initial team based task, followed by individual research and development of 3D scene.
