Hi, my name is Mrs. Pratt! This is my first year teaching at Batavia Middle School. I will be teaching 5th and 6th Grade Reading. It was always my dream to be a reading teacher. I believe reading is thinking, thinking is learning, and learning is power. My goal is to empower my students to become better readers, writers, and thinkers every day.

According to RENAISSANCE.com, students should be reading at least 15-20 minutes a day. Read books that make you happy, keep your interest, and make you think. Talk about what you read with a friend or family member. You could even read to your pets!
