To attend as a student, teach or vend at the 2026 convention you must be an MBG guild member for the year January 1, 2026, through December 31, 2026.
Any member 15-17 years of age must obtain a release signed by the parent or legal guardian to attend the convention. For the first year an accompanying adult must sign a waiver of responsibility and must be in the same class at the convention to assist the student if needed. For more details, please contact membership via Contact Us.
Carefully read all instructions in preparing the Convention registration form. Failure to follow the instructions may result in your application being delayed.
Consider weaving skill level in basket class descriptions and your weaving level experience when selecting classes.
Select only the classes you are willing to take as you may not cancel an individual class once it is assigned.
First Time Attendees should check the “First Time attending MBG Convention” box on registration form to receive special recognition and for a chance to win a First Time attendee award. Complete Waiver and Photo media release statements included in the registration form.
Make your hotel reservations before July 8, 2026, for the Holiday Inn Express and July 15, 2026, for the Hampton Inn. Be sure to indicate MBG for the special Convention room rate.
Online Registration closed May 15, 2026 - See On-site Check-in and Registration to register at the convention.
Register On-line and Request Class Preferences
Online registration closes May 15, 2026.
The $50.00 registration fee does not include class fees. Class fees are due upon your class assignment notification.
All attendees need to register using the online registration form.
Individuals registering as “Volunteer Only” or as “Service Providers” (including helpers for teachers and vendors, massage therapists, scissor sharpeners, and similar roles) are required to register through the online registration form. To obtain a direct registration link, contact the Convention Registration Team.
The registration process is a three-step process: (1) verify membership, (2) register for the convention, and (3) select classes. If you do not receive an email after registration, please check your spam folder.
Step 1) Membership Verification: In this step, you'll enter your email address for the program to check that your membership is current. If it is, you'll receive an email with your membership data, contact information, and a link to register for the convention. Your membership number and contact details will be automatically filled in the registration form.
If your membership is not current or not found, the email will include a link to our membership form for renewal or new membership creation. After you have renewed or applied for a new membership, you will need to return to this page and click the blue button below to begin Registration process again. This will include verifying your membership and generation of link to register.
Step 2) Convention Registration: Here you can input your preferences, purchase patches, and pay registration fees either by credit card, Google Pay, Cash Pay or by mailing a check. After completing this step, Students will receive an email containing a link to select class preferences.
Step 3) Class Selection: Using the link provided in the email, you can choose the classes you wish to attend each day. Once you've made your selections, you'll receive another email summarizing your chosen classes, marking the completion of the process. Class assignments for all registrations will begin after May 15, 2026, when registration closes. You'll receive a class assignment letter via email in late May or early June, along with instructions for online payment or check.
