Special Education at Basin SD 72

The Basin School District offers a continuum of special education services to eligible students. Eligibility for special education is based on meeting criteria (Special Education Manual 2018) for one or more disabilities, evidence of the adverse impact the student's disability has on his/her education, and a need for specially designed instruction.

Our programs and duties vary depending on the students enrolled in our district. We offer students with disabilities a Free and Appropriate Public Education.
