Non-Objective Art: Contrast
A piece of paper and a black crayon or colored pencil
1. Look at these artworks that show contrast.
Contrast can be made by using light and dark colors next to each other.
2. Follow the steps below to create your artwork.
1: Fold a piece of paper in half
2: Choose an organic or geometric shape
3: Draw your shape so that it goes on both sides of the folded line
4: Color one half of the shape black. Color the opposite background black.
