Program (formally named High School Graduate Intern (HSGI) Program)?
For students interested in pursuing a 2-year degree at Austin Community College in one of the following degree plans: (1) Manufacturing : Automation and Robotics Technology Specialization; (2) Manufacturing Technology: Advanced Manufacturing Specialization; (3) Engineering Technology: Engineering Technology Specialization; (4) Engineering Technology: Electronics Technician Specialization; or (5) Information Technology: User and Computer Support Specialization
10 Week Summer Internship at our Austin Facility
After the 10 weeks and if selected to continue, students will enter the Apprentice portion of the program where they will attend classes during the Fall & Spring Semester at ACC and work 2-3 days at Samsung Semiconductor in one of our unit part departments.
Students who maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA will be reimbursed tuition at the end of each semester.
