Barrytown School is a small rural school, nestled between the rugered sea and rainforest in the heart of Barrytown, a small community in New Zealand's beautiful West Coast.
The school caters for Years 1-8 in a co-educational environment where we strive to give our students a strong start in their education.
We currently have 24 students enrolled:
- Year 1 - 3
- Year 2 - 2
- Year 3 - 1
- Year 4 - 3
- Year 5 - 4
- Year 6 - 4
- Year 7 - 3
- Year 8 - 4
The school operates two classrooms, Ruma Tahi caters for the Year 6-8's while Ruma Rua meets the needs of the Year 1-5's.
The school has a teaching Principal Rachael Whyte who is released by Alison Leigh.
