Welcome to my website! From here, you can find information about all my classes. Each page will let you know about the goals, what topics we will cover, the current lesson plans, and some important dates for each course.
I'm excited about this school year- it's my 22nd! Like my students, I started learning French in high school. I continued at the University of West Georgia with classes in communication, literature, history, modern France, phonics, and translation. I've visited Europe six times: twice as personal homestays and four times leading or assisting with student tours to France, Spain, Monaco, Italy, and Germany.
I started teaching at Meadowcreek High School in Gwinnett County. Due to the growing number of international newcomers, my principal offered me the opportunity to become certified in ESOL. I began teaching basic English twelve years ago. Five years ago, I gained certification for English 9-12 to expand my teaching options even more.
When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and computer gaming. I live in Winder, so don't be surprised to see me out and about taking the kids to karate, shopping, or going to see a movie.
