Mrs. JoLynn Miller, EdS, ATC
I am originally from Williamstown, PA. This is my 16th year living in GA and my 15th year overall at Apalachee High School. I started in 2004 as the Athletic Trainer for the Apalachee athletic department while I was finishing my master's degree at UGA. While serving as the ATC I finished coursework for my teaching certificate and eventually student taught in Health and PE at AHS. I served for 5 years as the Graduation Coach at HMMS and then in 2012 came back to AHS to teach the Healthcare Science pathway, all the while serving as the Athletic Trainer. After I had my second child in 2013, I "retired" from the full time ATC duties so I could focus on being a mom and teacher. I occasionally help our current ATC when she needs an extra hand. I also serve as the HOSA, Future Health Professionals, advisor. HOSA is the Career Technical Student Organization associated with our pathway (please see the link below to access more information regarding AHS HOSA).
I am married to my husband Joel, who I met while working at AHS. We have four children, Emma (8), Ella (5) and 17 month old twins, Erin and Jackson.
