Bio

Originally from Oconee County, Mrs. Huskey is a graduate of Oconee County High School. After completing both my bachelor's degree and masters here in the Athens area, she began teaching in coastal Georgia. There she gained experience as a head coach and teacher in the areas of Economics, US History, Teaching as a Profession, & Interior Design. Since coming to Apalachee, Mrs. Huskey has enjoyed teaching Early Childcare Education, being the adviser of our FCCLA chapter, as well as coaching football cheerleading. Mrs. Huskey and her husband were married in May 2016. They both stay busy with their small business boarding dogs and taking care of their own six rescue dogs. dog boarding. Mrs. Huskey and her husband welcomed their first child, Abigail, in April 2017.
