Bio

Originally from Oconee County, I am a graduate of Oconee County High School. After completing both my bachelor's degree and masters here in the Athens area, I began teaching in coastal Georgia. There I gained experience as a head coach and teacher in the areas of Economics, US History, Teaching as a Profession, & Interior Design. Since coming to Apalachee, I have enjoyed teaching Early Childcare Education, being the adviser of our FCCLA chapter, as well as coaching JV football cheerleading. My husband and I were married in May 2016. We have many animals and enjoying running our dog boarding business. We welcomed our baby girl, Abigail, in April 2017 and she has kept us very busy!
