It is official, the ASBEE Kosher BBQ Contest & Festival is back for its 35th edition scheduled for Sunday October 25, 2026 at the Baron Hirsch Congregation parking lot. 

This year's contest & festival will feature many of your favorites you've come to expect from the event and several new things this year. 

We are already anticipating well over 20 teams for the BBQ competition and we have our sights set on 30+!!! Teams will be competing in a new category....BBQ salami and fighting it out for the People's Choice Award presented by Kroger in the chicken drummy competition. More details to come about purchasing your Tasters Tickets. 

The 3 on 3 basketball tournament will be back and we have already begun to make some calls about there being no rain that day. The 3 point shootout and Free throw contest are also back!!

Ready to get your grub on? Well the Cowsher Cafe' will be back with all the goodies you've come to expect, including BBQ brisket sandwiches, burgers, slaw and much more. 

Bring the whole family out cause the Lil' Pitmaster Playground has loads of activities for younger children. Train rides, petting zoo, and more. 

We all love the annual Pickle Eating Contest and it is back, but how about in honor of America 250... an Apple Pie Eating Contest!!! Details to come on that soon.
