Let’s Get Started with Office and Microsoft 365
Go to office setup webpage office.com/setup.
In your fav browser, Visit www.office.com/setup or office.com/setup webpage. This will Open up the Office Setup webpage. For Microsoft 365 visit Microsoft365.com/setup. For multiple products, keys go to office.com/setupkey. You can also search office.com/setup in your browser search or your Google Search.
Sign In with your Microsoft Account or Create One.
On the Microsoft Office Setup webpage, office.com/setup, click Sign In and Enter your Username and Password when prompted. If you use a Microsoft service account like Outlook.com, OneDrive, Xbox Live, or Skype, You can use that account to Sign In.
If you are a new user, and you don’t have a Microsoft Account. Click on the “Create a new account” button and follow on-screen instructions to create a new account.
Enter Office Product Key.
Now enter your 25 Alphanumeric Product key in XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX Format, you can find your product key on the backside of the retail package or in your email, click Next. In some cases, You might need to select Country/Region and Language. Entering your Product key will add your Product to your Account.
Click Install Office.
Now you will be on your Account page with your Microsoft Office Purchase added to your account. Click Install Office button on the right side of the purchased Office product that you want to download and Install.
Select the Office Version you want to Install.
Once you click on the Install Office button, a dropdown with options and versions of Microsoft Office will appear, Select and click on the Preferred version you want to download.
Download and Run Office Setup.
Depending on your Browser, In Edge, Click Save, Internet Explorer Run, Chrome Click Setup, For Firefox click Save. Your download will begin and once the download is completed, the installation file will run automatically. If the installation does not run automatically, go to the downloaded file will be in your default downloads folder. Double-click to run the file.
Click Yes to begin Installation.
Once you run the setup file, a prompt will appear asking you to allow the setup to make changes to the device. Click “Yes” to run the setup and begin Installation of Office.
Open Browser, Go to www.office.com/setup for office setup.
Visit the office.com/setup webpage. This is the Official Office Setup website. Click on the Sign In button.
Sign In to your Microsoft Account or Create a New One.
Sign in with your Microsoft account associated with any Microsoft Services like XBOX, Windows, Skype, or any other Microsoft Service. If you are new to Microsoft Services you can click on the Create a New Account.
Enter your Product Key, Select Country and Language, Hit next.
Enter and add your 25 alphanumeric combinations of the Product key without the hyphens. Your product key will be available in the email or the retail card.
Click Install.
Now your Product key will be added to your Account page and select your Office product and click Install.
Select Office version to Download setup.
Click Install and now you will be able to select the version of Office you want to install according to your Operating system version. Save and Run the officesetup.exe file. Depending on your browser you can click Save and Run to automatically run the Office Installation wizard.
Run Installation wizard.
Run the installation file from the Downloads folder. Double Click “setup32.exe” for a 32-bit operating system or “setup64.exe” for 64 Bit Operating System. A prompt will appear asking you for permission to allow the installation to make changes to the device. Click Accept to start the Installation.
The installation will Begin, Click Continue and wait for Installation to Finish.
Once the installation has started, click Continue, and your Installation will start. Wait for the installation to finish.
Click Close, Start Apps. Installation Complete.
Once the installation is finished you can now go to Start>Office and open any Microsoft Office app like Word. Accept the Office License and Agreement. Your Office setup is complete and Finished.
