How to use Cricut ?

To use Cricut, you need to follow the steps mentioned below :

• Choose a material you like, with which you want to make your craft project, and place it on an adhesive Cricut mat to hold it firmly. Now put the mat in the cricket maker machine.

• Now, open the cricut.com/setup software and select the design you want to cut the material. Adjust material settings and send design to machine.

• Then, press the button on your Cricut machine to begin cutting the material.

• After the machine is cut, remove the mat from the machine and carefully remove the material cutout.

Set up cricut.com/setup on a Mac computer -

Follow the procedure or steps given below :

• For Mac, open an Internet browser and navigate to cricut.com/setup.

• Select download option. Once you start downloading, the screen will change including browser.

• When the download is complete, double-click the (.dmg) file in the browser or Downloads folder.

• Drag the Cricut icon to the application dock to start the installation.

• Now, Design Space for Desktop will be automatically downloaded to the Apps folder.

• To launch the app for desktop, double-click the Cricut Design space icon.

• Create a shortcut and drag the app to the dock.

• Now, a Mac device may appear to ask if you need to open the downloaded app.

• Select the Open option to continue.

• And sign in to the app with Cricut credentials.

How to connect Cricut Joy or Maker to iOS/Android device ?

1. First, plug in the Maker Machine and turn it on.

2. Then, pair the iOS or Android device with the Cricut device using Bluetooth.

3. Next, download and install Design Space from the App Store.

4. Launch the app or create a Cricut ID via cricut.com/setup.

5. Click on Menu and choose Machine Setup.

6. Select your machine model (Maker, Explore or Explore Air)

7. Do as you see on the screen to complete the setup.

8. Click on it.

9. The next page will ask you to connect the machine to the PC.

10. Now, you will know the setup is complete when you will be asked to make the first cut.
