Investigating and Questioning our World through Science and Technology (IQWST)

IQWST is a middle school Science curriculum developed with support from the National Science Foundation and aligned to the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).  IQWST is based on the latest research regarding how students best learn science.  IQWST engages students in scientific practices as they experience, investigate, and explain phenomena while learning core ideas of Science and important scientific principles. Students build understanding by connecting ideas across disciplines rather than memorizing facts . Students are also learning how to write scientific arguments based on the Claim, Evidence and Reasoning model.
