Dragon Folder Information
CLASSROOM RULES
Listen to and follow directions the first time they are given.
Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
No teasing or name calling.
Be prepared for class.
Be honest and respectful to others and their property.
CONSEQUENCES
Verbal Warning
Student will lose recess privileges for the day.
Write up in behavior folder.
Send to Principal, parent notification
Severe disruption= Immediate removal from the class and taken to the principal.
***If the teacher recognizes a pattern of chronic misbehavior, “Drop Down” in consequences may be necessary.
*4 write-ups for behavior per week = office referral (Behavior offences will be written in the dragon folder in red ink).
Conduct Grade Scale
E = 0-2 Write-ups
S = 3-5 Write-ups
N = 6-10 Write-ups
U = 10+ Write-ups
**Cheating/stealing/fighting/ISS = Automatic “U” in Conduct. (No 6 weeks honor roll)
ASSIGNMENT POLICIES
Assignments must be turned in on the due date (complete or incomplete). Assignments not turned in on time will be given a zero. He/She may turn the missing work in on the next school day for credit up to a 70. Assignment will be graded and returned on Fridays in the Dragon Behavior Folder. Missing assignments will be written in the student's Dragon Behavior Folder as a sign-in . Three missing assignments in a six weeks will lead to an office referral for further attention.
REWARDS:
Verbal praise
Daily stickers/stamps in behavior folder
Classroom rewards
End of the six-weeks movie (must have at least an “S” in conduct and no ISS)
Dragon Folders will be sent home daily for communication purposes. Each weekend, they need to be signed and returned to the student's homeroom teacher by Monday morning.
**If the Dragon Folder is blank for the week that means your child did not received a write up for that week.**
