She was the leader of the “STOP ERA” organization that stood against the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA). The “STOP ERA” organization stood for “Stop Taking Our Privileges Equal Rights Amendment”. She was against ERA because she thought it was going against God and it was ruining families because the people for ERA were pro-abortion.
