Howdy & welcome to our BHS reading website! We are changing things up a little bit this year and asking EVERY BHS student to read a book or two this summer. On this page you will find a list of books for every grade level and English course offered on our campus, as well as AP US History. Students enrolled in Advanced classes (Pre-AP, AP/DC) will have specific assignments for each novel, while students in regular courses are only responsible for reading the text(s). We will spend the first few weeks of school discussing and analyzing the texts at hand, so please come prepared in August. We are also encouraging a campus-wide book study this year, recommended by Coach Ham. Students who choose to participate will be offered some extra credit opportunities by your English teacher in the fall.
